Attention Members – Please Take ACTION
On Monday, February 23rd, the New Jersey Legislature is voting on four bipartisan bills that protect students and inform families about high-stakes standardized testing. Please ask your New Jersey Assembly members and State Senator to support these bills.
Protects students from “sit & stare” and other punitive policies imposed when their families refuse high-stakes standardized tests.
Freezes the use of PARCC high-stakes standardized test scores for three years, to enable this experimental test to be proven effective before it is used to evaluate (and to punish) our children, our teachers, and our public schools.
Prohibits the administration of non-diagnostic standardized tests prior to 3rd grade.
Informs families of all standardized tests administered by school districts and charter schools, including their uses and costs.
Click here to Take Action & send a (pre-made) letter to URGE our Legislators to VOTE YES. This process will take you less than a minute. Thank you for all you do to support high-quality public education for all of our children
